Thanks for reading and see you next week! The one-day-earlier marathon continues~
Here's some first-draft trivia for ya: Originally Din and Conan traveled with two horses: Artemis and Checkers (the first horse Conan was saddling). However, after some research I learned that horses eat a LOT and to bring another horse they'd also have to bring a third just to carry the horses' food and water. So, Artemis got demoted to a pack horse and Checkers got to stay home. I question this decision a lot, but here we are.
*Remembers a cursed necklace in wrappings in Harry Potter*
.....Oh yeah xD Fortunately this is probably not a horcrux. Probably.
10 min later theres a large explosion outside of Evenheim... Also another thing i noticed when i went back some pages. theres a banner hanging above Evenheim's gate where part of the symbol that is both on Conan's Watch and on Din's back can be seen.
Im assuming this has to likely be the symbol of the ruling Monarchy?
Explosion? As in the package is a bomb? xD
You are very observant :3 Not a lot I can say about the sigil just yet. Regarding Evenheim, it hasn't had a monarchy for quite a while.
Interesting thing about the two horses. If you had kept it, though, you'd be having to draw even more horses now xD
... Conan looks like a different person in his new outfit! So refined and classy xD
*croaks* Okay now I'm really glad they left Checkers and the third horse at home.
Tell him that and he'll start spouting ain'ts as a self-defense mechanism.
Oh, the ambiguity!
Din's favorite thing: being waaaaaay too ambiguous.
He asks like he really expects an answer.
Right?? Worth a shot, anyway :'D
That first panel is gorgeous!
Is it bad I'm worried about the horse in all of this? lol
Thank you! :D
That is an entirely valid concern, but I'm gonna drop a spoiler here to say that I have no plans of letting anything bad happen to Artemis. The human characters, on the other hand, are on their own.
A cursed Magician on a quest to overthrow an ancient kingdom, a horseman who really just wants to get home to his girlfriend, and the windborne magic that binds them both.
