Thanks for reading and see you next week!
Would that actually take less effort than parting the sea?
Good question! The main problem is that you can't maintain magic when you're asleep or unconscious and it's a far enough stretch that they can't cross it in one go (without REALLY pushing themselves anyway).
once the earth is raised, its raised. it doesnt sink back. the water being held up would take extensive effort as it has to be held constantly.
btw that smug look on his face: priceless
I'll have to see what is meant by bridge, because I'm envisioning a giant sand bridge arcing over the water XD Unless the dirt can be compacted super solidly I'd think it'd just crumble?
If he can manipulate the ground that solidly, I'd go for making a little island when you need to rest. No one can follow you that way >.>
so... does this count as the Jesus option? technically they would be crossing on teh surface of the water.
Okay fine yes we'll count this as the Jesus option xD Close enough!
so how far is the other shore?
About 20 miles across at this point (if I've got my research right, anyway). On an earlier page I showed a bit of map--they're on the tip of that peninsula.
so given that Artemis is likely not going to be carrying them thats about a reasonable 2 days travel.
Din just hit a new creepiness record in that last panel O.o
Buahaha I had to have him do an evil grin at SOME point xD
(Well...okay technically this is evil grin #2 but yeah)
